Two more sleeps until the festival kicks off Friday morning! I’m so excited, I have seen the way cool volunteer t-shirts too, I can’t wait to wear mine!
I can’t wait to play games, and watch the performances by all the entertainers with my new friends. Friday and Saturday are going to full of laughs, fun, singing and snacks.
I love snacks, especially crackers and cheese. I can’t wait to sing along with Fred Penner and watch Flyn’ Bob walk the tight wire, which must be so scary!
Bye for now, I can’t wait to meet everyone on Friday and Saturday!

Hey everyone, I hope you had an excellent May long weekend, I know I did! I decided to take an adventure down to Drumheller and check out some dinosaurs! It was so much fun; have you ever noticed that some of them look like giant chickens?
So I am back getting ready for Children’s Fest this week. I was browsing www.centralalbertachildrensfestival.ca with my friends, showing them how they can volunteer, by going to the website, clicking on the “volunteers” tab and filling out the online form. They were surprised how quick and easy it was!
This year’s activities are going to be great, and I can’t wait to see Fred Penner and Flyn’ Bob perform. There are also going to be dancers and other performers there, I love watching them! Only a week and a half left to wait!
‘Till next time!

It’s getting close to the festival, only two and a half weeks left! I found out that I get a free t-shirt for volunteering so I am pretty excited about that. There is nothing better than a free t-shirt and free admission for both days of the festival!
Being a bird and all that, I really love our environment. If you have a reusable water bottle like I do, make sure you bring it with you to the festival. We all will enjoy a clean world to play in!
Well, that’s all for now!

Hey everyone!
This is my first blog and I am so excited to be on the internet!
Sunday was so much fun at Bower Ponds. There was a barbeque and dance party to support cleaning up our city! I think I like the name Green Deer better than Red Deer, what do you think?
I got to walk around the ponds with my helpers handing out information to children and parents about Central Alberta Children’s Fest. I can’t wait; it’s going to be so much fun. We still need volunteers so anyone who wants to come take part and have a blast can sign up at www.centralalbertachildrensfestival.ca.
Sunny the mascot from Sunny 94.1 radio station was there and we had a dance off…I’m not too sure who won though, I was too busy dancing. They even played the funky chicken song for me, so I did a lot of dancing!
