About the Event
Juke Box Mania (JBM) is a great opportunity to be a part of an exciting community event. This event is fresh creative and a lot of fun – not’s not black tie and you don’t have to run walk or cycle.
JBM is best described as a kind of “Name that Tune” game that challenges players to name musical artists, movie jingles, television shows, and various songs from every musical genre in a fun, relaxed and party-like atmosphere.
Contestants register either in teams of 8 or purchase tickets individually. Players who purchase individual tickets will be grouped into a team of 8. Sound clips are played in a specified musical category and players scramble to figure out the answers.
At the end of the game, one “team” goes home with bragging rights, some nifty gifts and the Opus Award. Prizes will also be given out for best costume and other hidden talents. Dressing up as your favorite entertainer or groups adds to the playful flavour of the evening!
